About us

A small shop that
takes the work personally

Iron Bond Fabrication is a family-run welding and fabrication business in Springdale, Arkansas. We build and repair stainless process equipment, structural steel and custom metalwork — and we go out to the job when the job cannot come to us.

From the owner

Why it’s called
Iron Bond

A weld is a bond — two pieces of metal made into one, permanently. That is the job, and it is the name. It is also why I started this: to build something for my family, doing the thing I am genuinely good at, for people and businesses in my own community.

That has a practical upside for you. There is no sales desk here and nobody hands your job down the line. The person who looks at your work is the person who quotes it, welds it, and picks up the phone when you call back. If something is not right, you already know who to talk to.

It also means I am careful about what I take on. If a job is outside what I do well, I will tell you and point you at someone better suited — a lot cheaper for both of us than finding that out halfway through.

What “done right”
actually means

Anybody can stick two pieces of metal together. The difference shows up six months later, or the first time an inspector puts a light on it.

  • Fit-up before filler

Most bad welds are bad fits. Time spent getting the joint right is time you do not spend grinding.

  • Purged and heat-controlled

On stainless, the color tells the story. Proper gas coverage and travel speed keep the corrosion resistance you paid for.

  • Built for the wash-down

Food-plant work gets hit with caustic and hot water every day. Smooth, crevice-free welds are not cosmetic — they are the point.

  • Left clean

Grinding dust, offcuts and stub ends go home with us. Your floor looks like we were never there.
